Becoming More and More is a new series that aims to document local musicians, the creative process, and current projects while addressing critique in local music writing, distribution of music, and the general state of music in and out of Pittsburgh. The second segment comes in two parts and features tENTATIVELY, a cONVENIENCE demonstrating a system of bird calls and bird call imitations and also providing a tour of his vinyl output.

tENTATIVELY, a cONVENIENCE has been extremely active in Pittsburgh film, video, and music for quite some time. Prior to that, Baltimore was his home. His recent projects have included leading the Systems-based, large ensemble HiTEC, filming a documentary on composer Franz Kamin, and hosting a few intimate evenings of his video archives. The wealth of subversion in his work is marvelous, extending to his own terms to describe the work: Acts of As-Beenism, Uncerts, Mad Scientist Didactions, Imp Activism, CircumSubstantial Playing.
