The 23-year-old Allderdice grad is the first Pittsburgh-based artist to hit the Top 40 since Christina Aguilera, and he's the first local rapper to achieve that type of success. Khalifa has done it through a grassroots effort driven by his 60-city Waken Baken Tour and the single's success on iTunes.
